So I Know It's Been a While...

So i know it has been forever and I have just updated  on how Miss NH went but.. I just got my new laptop for college, thanks to Miss NH for the scholarship money to make it happen! Thus, I have more of an ability to post with ease. Anyways, I wanted to post a picture of my most recent adventure.... Before I gave up my Title as Miss Monadnock Region in October, I wanted to climb the mountain. Let me tell you this was no easy task for a first time climber. Not to mention the park ranger advised us to climb the "white dot trail" which just so happened to be the most difficult terrain. Scaling thousands of feet of sheer rock face was something I never thought I'd do. However, after several long hours of climbing we finally reached the top! I awkwardly took my crown and sash from my backpack and put them on for a much needed photo op amidst the many stares of those around me. No regrets though, this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm glad I took advantage of it. So here you have it, Miss Monadnock Region at the top of Mount Monadnock. And who said pageant girls don't have what it takes?
